A local school headmaster and three teachers have just been shot in Kano State this morning by unknown gunmen who stormed Danmaliki school in Kumbotso local government area of the state.

A source in Kano said the Joint Task Force (JTF) have arrived the area and conducting a search while the attacked officials were rushed to the Aminu Kano Hospital in Kano where they are currently receiving treatment for the gunshot wounds.

An eyewitness said that the situation created panic as pupils and other teachers fled the school into nearby bushes for safety.

Northern Nigeria. SMH. It baffles me why someone would wake up one morning to demand amnesty for cowards who kill teachers, doctors, youth coppers, soldiers, engineers and everything that represents development and progress. it is your homeland, do as you like.

Am very sure JAMBs are responsible for this attack.
seems the JAMBS sect members would have been JAMBed
many times for failing JAMB/WAEC hence they are taking their
frustrations to the schools where they sat for their papers

Each time I read threads like this daily, I keep thanking God for making my NYSC redeployment away from the north a success..
Here is an advice to current and prospective corpers still in camp, they ll try and brain wash you with sweet tales to stay, some gullible ones ll oblige, but when orientation camp closes in 2 weeks time, you ll discover the whole experience is a mirage.
You are an investment, lots has been spent on you, don't let a trigger happy alimanjiri put your people in sorrow.. The north is not safe at least for now, we hear tales that some North East states like Taraba, Kebbi, Katsina and the likes have no history of violence.. Yes its true, same was said of Potiskum and Damaturu 2 years ago, when this savages begins, you won't get an advance mail
