Ok as a music insider.. Here are our Top 10 mc for 2012.. Criteria used includes.. Current form, lyrical dept,last job,floetry.

No 10; Lynxxx. He has been showing strong since last album..
No9: Skales.. This dude has strong lyrical dept. When we saw him perform at silverbird galleria 4yrs ago. He was a threat. But too much singing is killing his dept.

No8: Show dem camp. The guys are very overlooked. Pls cop there latest album to get what am saying..

No7: young6. Dude needs to get out of storm records.. He is very gifted but lacks the right advice asper content. He needs a mentor..but he is one of best MC's out there methaphore wise..great punchliner.

No6: iLLblish. The Oga boss came up strong on last album. Just that he strolls on tracks a lots..but I guess his biggies small twang helps him. And he only did 2 tracks alone on his last album..lots of feauturesm.

No5: Phyno.. The cat is a threat to the throne anytime soon. Nigga raw must be strategizing by now..did u hear him in ghost most..or the track with ilbliss..þhe nigga is the future

No4: PHenoM. There is sopmething his record label is not doin well..if this guy was with chocb oys or mavin with those exposure he would have been commanding some huge spot..I will advice he finds what olamide did..more materials.. We need to hear more shit from u..

No3:Olamide.. The cat is grassroot yet elitist. Very gritty..not much dept lyrically but very very vast slinger..

No2: ice prince.. Mr zamani has come a long way. He has matured a lot from the propect we saw 4 years ago at the Vault in VI. I don't like rappers singing.buþ he gets away with it..tight lyrisist.. Will take on his egbon Mista increadible on a 12 round bout.

Gold medalist. Pls don't go citisiZing.. Before we did this we put a lot into consideration. If he did 8 songs since last year they were all lyrically tight and heavy... Omo naija to ja wojamo.. Moti yawere' tan.. Motun' ja wa..

Vector. Thanks to nairaland. I actually heard of this dude hear.. Some guy was just over hipping him them. I looked him up and was not impressed then. We felt he sounded more like a jay Z. But he has shown strong consistency.. Though it deosnt gauranty a huge album.

The following people were not included for reason like.. Shy of dropping decent tracts, doing funny RnB tracks or just loosing it or not working hard enough.. Pls hope this will motivate them to come back strong next year.. Like I stated earlier..this are personal opinion of an insider.. Reactions from real hip hop heads are welcomed.. (MI,mode9,reminess,ruggedy,ikechukwu, can't even call dr Sid and daprince rapers anymore,Neato is doin the marraige thing, saucekid don go back yankee go hussle..) Talk to u guys later

I just think the Top Mc,s are eiÞher fidgeting on very unsure...take MI for instance. I witness the video shoot of African Rapper numba one with flavour over 3 freaking years ago.. Dude has refused to release the video of his bgest song to date..
