Where did you get your definition of 'lady' from? Abeg check well o.
in kulyie's dictionary any female that has put to bed is now a woman and not a lady, thats why when females just put to bed in nigeria, you hear now you are a woman or they refer to them by the names of their kids e.g mama bisi, iya zayhal etc,and thats why yorubas refer to those women that have put to bed and still want to be forming lady and dressing like a lady as 'sisi mama' more of a sarcastic name to remind the person that she is no more a lady and as such she should see herself as one cheesy

LADY

1. a woman who is refined, polite, and well-spoken: She may be poor and have little education, but she's a real lady.

2. a woman of high social position or economic class: She was born a lady and found it hard to adjust to her reduced circumstances.

3. any woman; female (sometimes used in combination): the lady who answered the phone; a saleslady.

byvan: With a ceasarean, you keep the pussy tight and your tummy bulging with scar.

I beg your pardon??

@Jidegirl,Ceasarean leaves a scar, doesn't it??All the ladies I have seen with ceasarean tend to have bulging tummies. My friend that delivered through CS still look pregnant after 4months of delivery.

Their CS wasn't a choice but of circumstances beyond their control but no doubt that it ll keep the V intact.

Why do you think so many married men cheat with younger women who are in their teens and early and mid twenties? It is because the vjay of their wives have become slack like an elastic rubber band. And keep in mind, the more babies you breed, the more loose your vjay becomes. So that is that.

Please poster, this ur argument no hold water at all, as some of the girls wey you refer to get vjays that are more slack like an elastic rubber band than that of the women that had given birth.

That said, does anything really change in a woman's vjay after birth, as I'm yet to notice that. My wife have been so worried that she's no longer the same down there, since after giving birth last December, and I've been finding it so hard convincing her that nothing has changed there.

How come these women's tummy are still looking bulgy??their babies are not upto a year though and I saw the scar after they loosened it,it wasn't tiny at all. Both of them had emergency cs too.Though one's cut was infected due to inadequate care, she was only given 400mg of flagl after her surgery.May be that contributed to the appearance of the scar.

I don't think is impossible to find a Doc that will cut from top to bottom in Naija, here everything is possible.

chaircover: In response to the tummy bulging with scar comment . . . . . .

For those who have already had breakfast, caesarean section Scarring et al depends on the location of the cut and the surgeon. I had mine going on 17 years ago and if a surgeon then knew to cut only a thin line over a few inches along the bikini line and it can’t be seen, then I know that the surgeons these days are light years ahead. Mine was an emergency C/S but even with that, the surgeon did not just butcher just to get to the baby. Fair enough I remember when my stitches were being taken out, the nurse said I was lucky to have had the hospitals best surgeon, but 2 of my family members had caesareans a few years ago and you cannot see the scar and NO they don’t have bulging tummies either!.

Surgeons are not butchers and they have wives, daughters, sisters etc of their own too and wouldn’t cut a woman like they are cutting meat in an abattoir. Many take pride in their job and I am sure that they will want their work to be acclaimed as the neatest.

Yes once upon a time in the days of my grandmother, surgeons cut from top to bottom but I doubt anyone cuts that way.

Tears/episiotomies etc also depend on the experience of the midwife/doctor and how well the labour is being managed. Scarring & healing also depends on how well or badly the lady was stitched up.

My advice to pregnant women is to do your homework very well and select a hospital/surgeon/obs specialist that comes with the best recommendation from previous patients. You don’t have to go with your company hospital or the nearest to home hospital.

Madam, I don't know whether am alone in this thought , which is that I prefer a CS than the trauma of labour. My wife had a CS 3 yrs ago, and I even advocated she goes through it again in her last birth in Dec 2012, though she refused. It maybe cos the doctor that did it was so good that you'd hardly find the scar today.

Opera – where did your wife have her C/S? From the look of things, it seems that where it’s done does make a difference in terms of scarring etc. Just Like your wife Its like the op never happened for me.

Also like your wife, I have had both. I know that doctors are not too keen on women attempting a VB after a C/S because the worry that the uterus can rupture but I did my research and spoke up and so, my medical team agreed that I attempted a VG but they had the theatre on standby just in case. I was lucky and it wasn’t needed and it was all over in minutes.

But I will honestly tell you that I would pick the VB over a CS. You will be in pain a few days or even weeks after a CS and if you had general anaesthesia then you are tired, but you can’t sleep because you have a helpless baby to look after.

You cant pick things up, cant drive for a few weeks, you find it harder to find comfortable positions and if you were like me who had a cough after delivery (maybe from the gases they gave me to put me to sleep) you will be in serious pain, plus not forgetting that you have to make sure that your inscion doesn’t get infected. I bounced back much quicker after my VB and my hormones levelled off much better after the VB . . . . . Lets also not forget that a CS is a major op and as with all op’s there is a risk of death.

OMG!! Cough after C/S is the worst. I started coughing the next day and coughed for over 2 weeks! It was horrible!

About the bulging tummy, I really don't know why the C/S belly should bulge more than vaginal birth. Is it the scar that bulges or the abdomen? With my C/S's my belly was back to pre-pregnancy size by the time I left the hospital. My bikini line scar is barely noticeable.

The fact that yo(letter missing) haven't heard or experienced something doesn't make it a myth neither does it make the people that experienced it ignorant.if it doesn't exist, what's the need of inventing Vaginoplasty (I lost missing letter)to correct it.Their are women with really bad episiotomy, their are some that are perpetally(missing)rined down their. Before we start screaming ignorance at everyone, can we atleast do a research to know if it occrs or not.

Lost a letter, hence it can't occr to complete some spellings.

It is only me? Byvan pls what 'letter' are you referring to?

Too bad I never had VB , trust me I'd have been truthful bout the difference down there, mine ( koko) is same old same old and my man goes %#? lipsrsealed everytime we made love ( who knows who's fooling who?)
I tried to go for VB for my last but my cervix is just way too small to push I guess.

BUT my sister had VB and I just got off the phone with her , she laughed hysterically to my curiosity bout her vjj status( I didn't get a straight answer from her tho)... so I guess I'll call my friend in another province after working hours grin

till then tats! ( btw lets agree to disagree pls wink)

My son plvcked off the letter(alphabet) missing from this word "srgery" from my BB.This V looseness thing depends on individval mvscle elasticity.Jvst as their are people whose tvmmy becomes flabby after first issve, some regain complete firmness even after 3kids.Ofcovrse with a Cs,the V will always be same old tight V,no difference.

I guess so, I've to use KY warming gel sometimes lipsrsealed

Btw I need to research from my physician colleagues to know this for a fact. It makes sense logically but is it really practically true ? , that place loose its elasticity after childbirth without tear?

( I'm not doubting you B , unless you're OBGYN to know this for a fact then undecided)

In that case let's wait then.

In opera's case, the guy sounded defensive ( bashing single gal's slacked vjj, he lost his credibility right there for me undecided)
I mean realistically @cc what'd you expect a caring man to say?
add salt to his already low self esteemed wife's injury on a public forum at that ?

I had cs and my stomach was not bulging.yes I agree dat d first few months it might still look big cos of diff reasons but once u r cleared to exercise u will get back to normal.what normally happen is dat some ladies don't exercise and watch wat d eat hence d big tummy and in no distance time they ve conceived again.at this time it will b harder to trim it down. @op,there r other options availabl.one can do cs.gone r d days cs is for emergency only.I personally opted for cs and will deliver all my children tru that.no stress.also one can do surgery.kegel don't really help much but its another option too.

Sorry dear, no offence meant, just that some of us bring up some useless reasons to mess up. Wish men could speak up on this like CC asked.

The body repairs, yes bvt not as efficiently as we ll like to claim.I svppose some of vs will even claim that the boobs remains the same after mvltiple exclvsive breastfeedings.Has anyone seen the tvmmy of ladies who are mvlti gravidas?I mean does that don't exercise, vsvally very flabby. Some that exercise still don't get back the original tone.I feel this will also apply to Vjay area after svbseqvent births. Those withovt tear will always stand a better chance of regaining their mvscle tone. Some tears are so badly stitched that the V can never be the same again. Some of these tears heal, leaving loose flesh that heals separately withovt being completely attached to the V.

Am a guy nd my wife is loose down there. She has 2 kids. The first baby happens to be very big,so she had tears nd guess it wasn't stitched very well. She is seriously loose. Don't know what d arguement is about ignorance but really a lot of ppl are going thru this. If its not true, there won't be vaginoplasty. The fact that one is okay down there doesn't mean others who says they are loose down there are lieing. Body differ.*my opinion*

Sounds like the professionals did not do what they were supposed to, the way they were supposed to. Can we agree that a more competent Dr. would have stitched her up better and she wouldn't be dealing with this problem? Or are we to assume that va..ginal births in general will cause loose pusss.ies?

By the way, vaginoplasty is probably more popular amongst the transgendered (men that want a pu..ssy down there). Like any other form of cosmetic surgery, it's available to those who desire enhancements for whatever reason, not as a matter of necessity. Even those who have not had, and do not plan to have children, opt for vaginoplasty

Last thing we want is women thinking vagiiiiinal births will destroy their sexxx lives or make their husbands into playboys in search of "neva-born" puss..ies
