I don't think its permissible since most (if not all) porn involves acts of fornication. Not to talk of the possibility of arousing lust towards the actors and the susbsequent 'adultery in one's heart'.

According to true christianity, p.orn is not a sin, but since you are mainstream christian, p.orn is actually against your doctrines. So if you use p.ornography to spice up your sex life, then on what grounds do you stand to preach that fornication and prostitution are sins? By using, you become a participators in the same acts, of fornication(p.orn artist are actually performing sex without marriage) and of prostitution(p.orn artists perform sex acts for money).

Note that I'd defined fornication and prostitution according to your doctrines(thereby using p.orn becomes an offense to you) rather than according to true christian interpretation.

1 (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement 2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement
3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction

Going by that definition above, the only pornography couples should be watching or reading is that created by themselves, meaning they are the ones that elicit such sexual excitement between themselves only.

Watching the known pornography triggers lust and expectations that most times cannot be met. Besides, most pornographic films are done by fornicators and/or adulterers. No one needs to tell you to flee all appearances of evil.
