So now you divorce your wife for burning your dress; what makes you think the new one won't burn your house?

Yea am considering Glo too. The network looks pretty strong, and the 18k/to all network luks gud to me.
Yes bro.Glo had been faithful to me,even when their network sometimes kak!The BBM services is MWAH and same goes for ETISALAT. MTN's high handedness is just unbearable. The same thing they doing in SA. Airtel wouldn't be a bad idea but guy, anything INDIA incorporation....i dont find them reliable at all.

nairaman66: Have the NCC considered the effects of this on Data Bundle Subscriber base? How can you switch to another operator who does not operate on the 3G or 4G LTE template? Or am I missing something??
Is there any GSM operator that is not on 3g?
Even at that , those that have it have not covered everywhere , so if you switch to an operator whose 3g is not in your area , u just fall back to EDGE and continue browsing

FYI, u can only port in or out after 90 days of your last port out or in. No network would go down, this would only intense healthy competition and the bargaining power of we subscribers becomes greater.

Mine may be worse. I have 5 Glo Sims, 1 MTN, 1 Etisalat and 1 Airtel. You see, there is no reason for me to port.

All I need is free browsing. Just port in to free browsing network and remain there as long it last.

What so u mean; will the two lines be working fine? If u port from mtn to etisalat while retaining ur number, u no longer belong to mtn, u now belong to etisalat but with the same number. Got that?

.
Don't be deceived!
The criminally minded strategists at MTN will surely work out something to over ride the attraction in the number portability option.
.
WATCH OUT for 5 kobo per second MTN to MTN new rate!!

It will takes 48hrs before your porting request will be fully activated and you can only migrate once in 3months.
So it makes portability not ideal for emergency.

Speed wise, you are very correct. Anytime I do speak about Glo speed here, some people usually think that, because Glo is my preferred network, that's why I do support them but, this is untrue, as I am just been sincere with the reality at hand.
The attached images here are the speed test results I just carried out, between Glo and MTN. Location: Yola Town, Adamawa State.
