All religious groups are the same. Jesus did not come to restore religion, He came to restore the relationship which Adam lost in the Garden of Eden.
Religion has brought pain, and frustration. Most beneficiaries of these religious groups are their leaders. Man is made of spirit, soul and body. When man was created from dust, God breathed into man, the breath of life. That breath established a relationship with God through the holy spirit. The wisdom, ability and power which Adam displayed were all from God through the Holy Spirit. God told Adam, "the day you sin or disobey Me you will die." (Genesis 2:17b). now what left Adam was the life of the holy spirit that operated in him. Adam became vulnerable and his earthly nature was exposed to sickness and diseases.The Negative Power of Religion.

Failure and poverty also stepped in. His relationship with God was severed. "and if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness." (Romans 8:10).
That relationship was what Jesus came to restore. Adam was completely guided by the spirit of God in him until he decided to disobey God, because he had a will of his own. What we have now are set of religious organizations with all kinds of teachings and revelations deceiving the people and building empires for themselves. Most of these religious groups over the years have succeeded by continuous teachings to capture the minds of people.

Your life will always follow the direction of your most dominant thought, and these teachings over the years have formed a stronghold. The bible says "They looked unto (Him) Jesus and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed" (Psalm 34:5). "For as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so shall the son of man, Jesus, be lifted up" (John 3:14).
These religious leaders quietly turn the Church into monarchy. The body of Christ is gradually becoming a huge family business. After serving the leaders, their children are gradually positioned to take over the business empire. What a shame! If it were now, after the death of Moses the sons would have taken over. Prophet Samuel was highly respected leader in Israel. His words did not fall to the ground. Yet, after his death the will of God prevailed. Unfortunately if it were now, the will of Samuel would have been interpreted as the will of God. And so this religious members or devotees are seeing this happening and most of them have engaged in reaping their benefits here on the earth by stealing and defrauding the organisations they feel the benefits are hereditary. We need a change Oh Lord! Give us a fresh set of sincere leaders, not this money inspired preachers whose only message is money and seed sowing!

But these leaders, in order to continue to hold their grip on their followers, have given themselves all kinds of titles and ascribed to themselves, the glory that is due to Jesus. The poverty of the people is beginning to affect their minds. Oh, the pain of poverty!
People will always run to where they are promised hope for overnight riches. Most religious centres are filled with devotees looking for emergency wealth. For years their situations remain the same, with only hope to show. For most of them, their prosperity and success is only on the theme of the year and stickers. When we will get to the end of the year and you will see advert in the media calling people to come with bottles of anointing oil for last minute miracles. How long will you be fooled? There is only one secret of success - the power of the Holy Spirit operating in a renewed mind, through constant study of the word of God which is Jesus. No church can help you but Jesus alone. The best the church can do for you is welfare. Nobody can help you without your consent. Settle down with the word and ask for divine direction through the Holy Spirit. "Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go" (Isaiah 48:17).

Conclusion:
Don't put your life and destiny in the hands of any religious leader. Seek a relationship with the Holy Spirit through the word. The Old Testament Prophets are different from that of the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the Spirit of God was only on the Priest or Prophets. But now if you are saved, you have the promise of the Father (Holy Spirit). Develop a relationship with Him. The blessings of God are for sons and daughters of God. If you can't hear Him, you are still a child and not different from a servant. "Now, I say that the heir, as long as he is a child and not different from a servant, though he be lord of all" (Galatians 4:1).
If you seek any other means you might be deceived. Miracle is not the standard; anyone, including fake prophets, can perform miracles. If you seek Jesus you will get miracles, but if you seek miracles, you might get agents of devil, they are every where.
