A 26 year old Nigerian,Emma McQuiston,the daughter of a Nigerian oil barron is marrying into the family of the noble Mcquess of Bath.Emna McQuiston will become the first black Marchioness when she gets married to her childhood friend,Ceawlin Thynn in June 2013.
Marchioness which means wife of a Marquess is a title of nobility ranked beneath a Duke and above an Earl in Britain.
Emma McQuiston who will make history in June by marrying into Britain's most eccentric aristocratic family is the daughter of Nigerian OIl baron Ladi Jadesimi.
She told a UK magazine that she has so far faced racism and snobbery from the upper class who are unwilling to accept her.
