that doesn't mean that eddie will get superspeed. Eobard is reverse flash, he is from the future and according to the comics, he made himself the reverse flash by replicating the process that made Barry The Flash because he was a super fan and kinda obsessed. He travelled back in time from the 23rd century using the speed force to meet his mentor but Barry saw the bad in him and bla bla bla..

The fights are quite good but thats it, I couldn't really follow the storyline, being the fact that I already know about daredevil before.
