I can volunteer. But imagine going to work atleast 5times a week with no or little allowance for transport in a place like abuja. I stay in bwari, and no construction work is going. If am staying in town, i can easily volunteer with 0 payment.

I don't mean to be rude but you have to take the bull by the horn.

I bet you submit the same CV for all the jobs you apply for, how would they invite you for an interview?
You have to show them that your a potential asset and your first line of defence is your resume.
So even if you have to lie on your resume just to get an opportunity to be interviewed, go ahead(provided you can defend it)

Then what happens after you are invited for an interview?
You have to study to be able to convince them that you are qualified for the job. Even if it means learning a new skill asap.

Put some work and effort in your search for a job, you have to be willing to edit your resume over and over again.
Edit your resume to suit the job description your applying for.

Lastly start small. Start with a lower paying job and develop your self.
With a low paying job you have a reason to leave your house everyday(less depression), you stand the chance of networking with people, you can use the office Wi-Fi to develop yourself and this would qualify you for a higher and better paying job.

Stop giving excuses and go to work.

Pardon my grammatical errors.

Do you have a phone? Do you have an internet? If your answer to the above questions are Yes,then I would implore you to look beyond the 9 to 5pm Jobs(Office work should be a bonus stream of income). You should start thinking of creating other streams of income especially taking advantage of some legit online opportunities. Fact is this,"in this 21st Century,Information is the currency(strive by all possible means to be rightly informed)".
Do you know that you can share your opinion/review about some software products and be rewarded in dollars? Capterra and other platforms are doing this and the good thing is that it is opened to everyone including Nigerians(You get paid $10 for each successful review). This is not a hearsay, I just cashed out a $100 from Capterra few days ago from the reviews I made. This is absolutely free and easy to understand(inasmuch as you wrote SSCE). Don't limit yourself bro, there are lots of opportunities out there, just be rightly informed.

Do not stop when you are tired, only stop when you are done. Cheers
