Nelson mandela. Spending 27 years in solitary confinement for your political beliefs is no joke, then coming out with your spirit unbroken and forgiving the people who jailed you is almost a Godlike power.

Why are Africans so slavish in front of “White and Black” dichotomy instigated by Europeans to perpetuate inferiority complex in Africa? Remove the "White and Black" dichotomy associated with RSA, Nelson Mandela would have been politically nobody.

grandpa please jump down from the train of beef! Telling us you don't like Nelson Mandela is still worthy of understanding than this sense deprived statement.

An hero
(male) and heroine
(female) came to refer to
characters who, in the
face of danger and
adversity or from a
position of weakness,
display courage and the
will for self sacrifice.

The Achebe whom you very revered wouldn't have had his famous book, 'things fall apart' be considered a global critique had the white men not invaded the village. Just try to imagine what he would have written if there was no colonialism in the 'things fall apart'.

Would Odumegwu Ojukwu had become an hero to you had there no pogrom and many other things leading to the nigerian civil war? Probably he would have gone the way of colonel Adebayo.

Had there no colonialism, what would have Chief Nnambi Azikwe known for.

Please stop committing the fallacy of Unwarranted Assumption!

Patrice Lumumba of the then Congo, for his firm belief in embracing a system of government (communism) that would have liberated his people from the supremacist whites rather than going with the 'democracy forced down our throat' which is actually a 'conduit pipe' to siphon away our numerous rich natural resources to enrich the lives of our brothers and sisters up the temperate region undecided if permitted to add more, my other two would be Gani Fawehinmi and Fela cool
