Former Deputy Governor Former Deputy Governor of Benue State, Prince Ogiri Ajene is dead.

According to the report posted on Dailypost.com.ng, Ajene who was Akume’s deputy between 1999-2007, passed on in London after a brief illness.

Details of his death are still being awaited.

Until his demise, the late Ogiri was a very humble and friendly politician and became a Councillor in his ward after serving as a Deputy Governor for eight years.

He is also the son of former Ochi Idoma, HRM Abraham Ajene Okpabi.
