They definitely can go without sex for more than a year when they reach old age and grow gray hairs. But for couples within age range,its not possible except they ain't ok medically or have issues unsettled.

-old age
-one or both is physically sick.
-one or both is infected with STI, and they have jointly agreed to abstain from each other.
-when the man suddenly become impotent
-when there is irreconciliable differences, but both still share the same apartment, and inevitably going to divorce.e.t.c.
Then............YES!!!

Even in old age,u can't abstain from sex up to a year!unless d thing no fit get up at all,in dat case they will play.no matter how slow,why not!.women use lubricants as d vj is completely dry.it might not be as before but definetly dey can do something! Unless sick or not sexually active before.

Recently I read one the dailies online where this particular couple have been married for more than a year, living together and they have NOT had sex with eachother.

They claim to be christians though. Been trying to get my hands on that news article for some days now.

Yes!it is very very possible all things being equal!u no,we tend to ignore this and focus on every other things as we get older, infact,its even sweater as they age! According to a programme I once watched in Dr Oz,one 70 something year old woman said that she pity her husband at times bc he is diabetic!also a survey once said dat the older u get and still bleep,d healthier u will become! If u use our naija yardstick to measure,its mostly not possible unless couple with oyibo mentality or hv bn outside naija a long time.that is wen u no that marriage is for u two alone.

Is no longer a new story. Couples do it when there is strife. A woman refused having sex with the husband when she discovered he was cheating and she insists on cutting her own pond of flesh. Sex became a scarce commodity but i dont know whether she has been able to fix her broken heart thereby having sex with the hubby or whether she has made up with the hubby but equally established extra marital affair.
