Soldiers arrest fake policeman with 108 kg of Indian hemp

Bauchi State Police Command, over the weekend, recovered materials used for the manufacturing of locally Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along Gombe road a densely populated area in Bauchi.

The recovery also came on the heels of the arrest of a fake Superintendent of Police (SP), one Augustine Odogwu, by soldiers with 100 kilogrammes of Indian hemp along Bauchi-Kano road near Gadar Maiwa village.

The state Police Commissioner, Mohammed Ladan, who confirmed the incident, said: “The materials were dumped near Bauchi township Divisional Police Station, and were concealed inside a carton. The culprits were in the process of assembling the IEDs but they put it inside Turkey oil and Maltina cans but couldn’t complete it. We have removed it and the area is safe.”

Residents of the area, which is close to the residence of the popular Alkali Aminu’s house, said they were shocked and confused when they saw a carton containing bomb that were carefully kept inside tins with a bag containing fertiliser.

Meanwhile, a fake Policemen, who was arrested by soldiers with 100 kilogrammes of Indian hemp near Gadar Maiwa village in Ningi Local Government Area of the state, was said to have been arrested at a military road block along Ningi road with fake Identity Card with the rank of SP and a uniform in his car.

A security source in Bauchi, who confirmed the incident, said the car was loaded with 108 kilogrammes of leaves loaded in sacks suspected to be Indian hemp.
The source added that: “After the man was arrested, the first preliminary investigation confirmed that the suspect is not a policeman and he was handed over to the Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Bauchi State Command for further investigation.

He appealed to the masses to always be security conscious and report any suspicious character to the security agencies “even if the man is in uniform.”
Efforts to get the comment of the state NDLEA Commander, Mr. Parah Julius Bawa, proved abortive as he was not on seat, but a senior officer in the command confirmed that the suspect was undergoing interrogation and had made some confessional statement

so is it a crime not to be able to communicate fluently in english ehn i hav seen professor(in science course) dat does not speak good english but he is really good in his course so waat sort of inferiority complex makes u tink dat being able to speak english fluently translates to intelligence in one's duty just as phd does not mean intelligence e.g our oga at d top u know now
