It was the despair that Ndigbo suffer in the hands of the authorities in Nigeria that Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor of Abia State describes the Igbo as third rate citizens in the Nigerian project.

Kalu is of the thinking that rather than the Igbo will be respected as other major ethnic groups in Nigeria enjoy, Ndigbo are relegated to the background in the proposal of things in Nigeria.

I guess Orji Uzor Kalu was preaching to the wrong crowd. British government, supported by the British parliament and populace, crafted the policy that saw Ndigbo allegedly “relegated to the background in the proposal of things in Nigeria” because of hard nose approach of Ndigbo in certain human endeavors especially during the colonial era in the jungle later called Nigeria.

He actualy said what the british paliment wants to hear,... It is the Americans that love the IGBOs so he was in a wrong party
