Going the extra mile means to make a special effort to achieve your goals or to go beyond the effort of others.
To be the extraordinary, you have to be able to do the extraordinary because nothing good in life comes easy.
The recipe of success is to study while others are sleeping, work while others are eating, prepare while others are playing and dream while others are wishing.
You don't have to be scared of going too far because success lies just beyond.
You have to stretch beyond where you are to reach where you want to be.
You have to risk of going too far because he who risk nothing, does nothing, has nothing and is nothing.
A person that risked of going too far is the person that knows exactly how far one can possibly go.
You don't have to sit back, wait and look, you have to attempt something and make things happen because success comes to such people.
If you don't run fast in this life, you will be trampled because life is a race, the race is on and you are in it.
If you are not continually learning and upgrading your skills somewhere, someone else is doing his/hers. And when you meet that person, you will lose to him/her.
And to achieve something you have never achieved before, you will have to develop and master one or more skills that you have never had before.
Please tell me how you are going to change and achieve your goals when you keep on doing the same thing and meeting the same people everyday. Common go out and do a different thing.
You have to go the extra mile to achieve your goals because no good thing comes easy, a lot of sacrifices are made and premiums are paid too. There is no progress and achievement without sacrifice(s).
But how can one be successful without having vision, please set goals/targets for yourself, work hard and pray hard, then the Lord will take you beyond your expectation.
People with goals succeed because they know where they are going. Therefore make goals for yourself achievable in a reasonable time frame.
Whatever you have accomplished in life up to this moment/date is only a small fraction of what you are truly capable of achieving, so don't relent, get up and achieve more.
