Couple Sleep-Off While Driving On Eko Hotel Road In Victoria Island by topeorekoy(m): 5:50pm On May 23, 2013 |
I was on Ademola Adetokunbo, I saw this crowd gathered around a car right in front of Eko Hotels. I stylishly moved closer and asked one of the usual Lagos "gather around' and was told that the couple while driving along the road slept and eventually stopped in front of Eko Hotels. Despite people opening the car doors, the couple still did not wake up but they are breathing as at the time I took these pictures. What could have happened to this couple? Were they drugged or are they on drugs? http://topeorekoya..com/2013/05/photos-couple-sleep-off-while-driving.html 1 Like

How can the man be turning the steering wheel while sleeping off? When they wake up they will let us know what caused this mysterious slumber |

Hmmm...... Is this for real? Both pics posted are of different cars. First pic is obviously a Landcruiser Prado while second pic looks very much like a Honda Accord 06-07 (discussion continues). Care to tell us which of the cars the couple is actually sleeping in? Edit: Photography could have been better. 1st photo not needed as it appears the Prado was just a 'spectator' car alongside the other people looking at the main 'car of interest' parked close to the Prado 24 Likes |

Carbon-monoxide poisoning from a silencer leak in their car, especially while stuck in traffic, would indeed put all occupants into a deep slumber that could lead to a comatose state, followed by death, if they are not removed from the source of the exhaust leak and given oxygen quickly. 21 Likes |

Three likely scenarios 1. Drugged by someone 2. Under influence of some drug; self induced 3. Nigerian food. Yes, some Nigerian food are invariably HEAVY. Especially if you are coming from Diaspora and not used to them. On a personal account, I slept off right there, 15 minutes after eating pounded yam and egusi soup. I felt very weak as though my body was paralyzed; couldn't move, just felt like sleeping. Ended up sleeping and waking up 4 hrs later. Woke up fine and okay. Now, only indulge a little of this heavy food. Want to know why most Nigerian men and women have pot belly? Answer: Heavy food. 6 Likes |

Possibly, thesame process whereby fumes from a generating set kills occupants of an unventilated house. |

The couple should br recommended for safe use of the road. To me, it was wise of them to park for a nap than causing an accident while sleep-driving. Who knows, maybe the man felt sleepy, and since his woman probably can't drive, she shared in the nap. #love# 1 Like |

Dude, you sure about your assertions? Cos I can't see any reason why the OP would tamper with facts of the incident. You can't really tell anything from the 2nd pic. Plus, in both pics, seems to me that its the same ground/street at least. So there you go. 4 Likes |
