^^^Why did you have to remind me of that Godforsaken place? As far as i'm concerned, if no light is all they're worrying about, then they've gotten off lightly!.....the whole town should be nuked back to the stone age.

Phcn gave me an outrageous bill of N10,000 last month, I paid d sum of N12,000 out of which I was already owing accumulated bill of 26,000, On thursday! I got home quite late from wrk and I observed Phcn disconnected my wire from d pole. I was asked to pay an additional sum of 3,000 and reconnection fee of 1,000 which I did on fri morning. BUT they never came back to connect the wire! Even ever since then the whole area has not had light! Nt even a flashlight!

God help these country! They say prepaid meter is free yet they still continue to sell it and even at that the distributing outrageous bills!!! Its this what the so called privitisation or commercialisation is all about! Yet some pple will still open their stinky mouth to tell us to vote for GEJ!!! What is he even doing on that sit self?

We need to go all out and try to generate like 60,000-100,000MW of electricity in next ten years.

Anyhow anyhow, we need to generate this most needed electricity.

People of IBB generation failed us totally, they developed their pocket instead of developing the country.

Most of the present governments are also not performing well.

I got this from Facebook, may be it will explain the situation. i don't know how true it is or its source but a friend posted it and i pasted it here. it says:

"President Goodluck Jonathan administration was
directly behind the recent power failure and that
it was intentionally designed to affect the entire
country. He described it as “a tactical plan to end
the Boko Haram Menace”. GEJ’s tactical plan
involves “total shut down of all power distribution
systems in the country, especially in Boko Haram
strongholds”. Phase 2 involves “shutting down
telecommunication nationwide to break down their
chain of communication, thereby weakening
them”. Do not expect phone network for 6 days
next week. You’ll get a text from your network
provider. He said also that fuel supply would be
cut off from states where boko haram suspect are
located and this would make it hard for them to
plan any other attack and it would be easy for JTF
to fish them out. In his words “It is a good plan.
I am 30% sure it will work. 30 is my lucky number.
If it doesn’t work, I can always set up a
committee to investigate”.
