Either u like it or not, freemason is satanic. Regardless of Islam's originality or genuinety, A true muslim shouldn't be part of it

@OP, you only need to believe in the existence of God/The Creator/Universal Being, or whatever name you please to call it to be accepted into a Masonic Lodge.

Your religion should not be a barrier.

All the best

Freemasonry IS NOT FOR MUSLIMS. The founding fathers of freemasonry had strong ties with the church. However, we have "free mason clubs" similar to the rotary club or lions club opened to everyone.

Islam has got absolutely nothing to do with violence. Islam like every other religion preaches, peace and equal rights amongst men. Some verses in d Holy Quran might have talked killings but it directed to the people of that era, which went in line with the turbulent times of that era. Any man for any reason who deliberately takes the life of another man, is likened to kill the whole human race. Any extremist or terrorist acts carried out in the name of Islam does not, will not and can never be justified in Islam

You can join the craft whether you are christian or Muslim. Freemason is the only gathering that do not discriminate against anybody irrespective of color, race and social status. All u need to be is.. Just, upright, and free men, of mature age, sound judgment, and strict morals.

All the best in your quest for the truth.

Could you kindly throw some light on the statement "freemason is satanic"?
Re: Can A Muslim Join the Freemasons Without Losing His Faith? by Krucifax(m): 11:37am On Jun 01, 2013
A lot of commentators here clearly do not know what they are commenting about! Let me elaborate.
1. To join Freemasonry you FIRST have to be recommended by a current Freemason.
2. Membership is open to ALL except WOMEN. You are only required to believe in a God. There is no specification for Jehovah, Allah or Buddha!
3. On the subject of Islam there are no clear rules barring a muslim that i know. However during your initiation ceremony a sword is placed on your chest and a “BIBLE”(old testament) is used when you swear your oath of allegiance. You are also informed during the rites of the Masons link to King Solomon. This applies in any lodge in any country. Also the lodge of your initiation remains your MOTHER lodge regardless of if your travel.
4. On the subject of Occultism. People are mostly lead by ignorance and stuff they see in movies. In 99.9% of Masonry meetings all you do is read bulletins, have dinner, drink, socialise, network and pay your membership fees. Having said that i am told that when you become a senior member then you may join other groups that are not Masonic by origin but may have esoteric interests.
5. There are 33 degrees or levels in Freemasonry. From Entered Apprentice to Soveriegn Grand Inspector General. I list them below.:
1° Entered Apprentice
2° Fellowcraft
3° Master Maso
4° Secret Master

5° Perfect Master

6° Confidential [Intimate] Secretary

7° Provost and Judge

8° Intendent of the Building

9° Elu, or Elected Knight, of the Nine

10° Illustrious Elect or Elu of the Fifteen

11° Sublime Knight Elect, or Elu, of the Twelve

12° [Grand] Master Architect

13° Knight of the Ninth Arch, or Royal Arch of Solomon

14° Grand Elect, Perfect and Sublime Mason, or Perfect Elu

Chapter of Rose Croix

15° Knight of the Sword [of the East]

16° Prince of Jerusalem

17° Knight of the East and West

18° Knight [Prince] Rose Croix

Council of Kadosh

19° [Grand] Pontiff

20° [Grand] Master of Symbolic Lodges

21° Noachite or Prussian Knight

22° Knight of the Royal Axe

23° Chief of the Tabernacle

24° Prince of the Tabernacle

25° Knight of the Brazen Serpent

26° Prince of Mercy

27° Knight Commander of the Temple

28° Knight of the Sun, or Prince Adept

29° Grand Scottish Knight of St. Andrew

30° Knight Kadosh

Consistory of Sublime Princes

31° Inspector Inquisitor Commander

32° Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret

Supreme Council

33° Sovereign Grand Inspector General

In summary for those that are still wondering. There is absolutely nothing Evil or Satanic about Freemasonry. Granted there is a lot of symbolism and ceremony that stretches back hundreds of years but it is nothing to be feared. It is only ignorance of people from the outside. If there is any issue is that you get bored of sitting round with people old enough to be your grand father and the constant drain on your finances that is the only evil i can say exists in Freemasonry. Have a nice day all.

I didn't know that freemasons are the founders of rotary club. This is interesting.
