my phone no agree Root with that method, it even show me in the process to restore my data which I did after reboot nothing happened, I intalled the adb drivers manually

You should see an 'SUPERUSER' app on ur phone or download ROOTCHECKER from Playstore in ur phone to confirm

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I notice that my phone isn't charging. its been stuck on 64% for about an hour now. anyone experienced this?

It's china. But who knows, sometimes they do have some features which even d phone makers don't know about. Tecno N7's gallery support air gestures, Infinix Racebolt have wifi direct.
