Its a normal thing for FIFA to randomly check Players, esp before some tournaments. I remember back then Obafemi Martins was always picked for Doping tests (I did'nt blame them, that guys acceleration & pace was Nightmarish) |

Does it mean that majority of people here don't know that doping test are conducted at random? All sports regulatory bodies do check their athletes for doping malpractice and this test is done at random. Please be informed about this, FIFA is not witch hunting anybody let alone Nigeria Shaarup, short up fool! You can not smell conspiracy in d Wind. Doping test is a test done randomly on selected players to ensure they are not using hard drugs and steroids. If a player fails the doping test (meaning that traces of hard substance was found in his bloodstream or urine), he will be sanctioned. There will be no consequences for the Nigerian team if he fails the drug test. He will be sanctioned with bans. Maradona was picked for a doping test after the Nigerian game at USA 94, he failed the test and was sanctioned; none of the matches he played was cancelled. Kolo toure failed doping test and received sanctions, no point was deducted from his club. Rio Ferdinand of Man utd was picked for doping test but refused to go and was sanctioned; that's why we Nigerians has nicknamed him "igbo" up till now. 3 Likes |
