I didn't common sense in your post. What concerns us about Gej winning PDP ticket? The issue here is that GEJ is gradually losing his stand. This is not how politics is done. He can't win 2015 through violence but through settlements. I, totally agreed with Dele Momodu,he should settlement with them to get what he wants,and then after do what he likes. If this is the way GeJ is heading he should not bother contesting in 2015 election,because all he will get is shame.

For those of you who are wishing PDP crumbles, I'm sure y'all kids in Nigeria and politics.
If PDP dies, the new party will become "PDP". What every wise and learned person will be praying for is vibrant opposition(s).
Opposition is not about disagreeing with every thing that's from the other party, it's not about attacking every policy from the other party. It's not about ambition.
It's about providing solutions. They have started in some states, they should have planned on spreading to every region.

No one could have said it better. I used to look up to Tinubu politically, because he truly stood for something, and I still respect him no matter what. But the whole APC thing is a pure political miscalculation.

Aligning with people of dubious intent rubbishes the whole idea of being a credible opposition and alternative to the ruling party.

GEJ I trust and am sticking with him. Not because he is PDP or from SS, neither, it's because he is responsible and deserves a second chance to continue his transformation agenda.

A party has 23 Governors and felt winning the 2015 election would not be easy ( According Tony Anineh)then 7 out of 23 Governors are said to be planning to break out of the party and it automatically becomes a plus to that party...... Over the year i thought deflection by major political powers like state Governors is(was) a minus to parties but today our 'Nairaland Political Analysts' are telling us something else .

Orji Uzor Kalu left PDP before 2007 as a sitting Governor and PDP lost the state, Isa Yaguda left ANPP as a serving before 2011 general election and ANPP lost the state...... Its either many Nigerians are bad political analysts or they are just blind followers that are not making good use of their brains( or both).

The people of Rivers State gave him no şuch mandate and no backing to oppose the first SS president on a National level, and that's why his recent escapades are an exercise in self destruction.

when some of raised this issue when this apc thing started we were called all sort of names.,
this apc merger stuff is going to detrimental for acn,acn should have stayed alone and keep working towards wining more states in the sout east and south south.rather than making this merger.the parties in this so called merger are the ones that will crumble the party.i know tinubu will not let down his guard in the south west.
the only good thing that might come out of apc is acn using it to penetrate the north which i think this is what tinubu is planning.but for 2015 presidency that is totally impossible for them

Just my personal opinion, no insult please. The far north politicians are playing into gallary. I foresee the far north tactically placed in the oposition in the future. The western region will be systematically drag into the mainstream polity. ACN sucess prior and after the 2011 elections were treaks to weaken obj influence in the party.
