I agree with Obi 100%. The Igbo leaders need to meet with Uwazurike and MASSOB leaders to redefine their missions and Objective. Under president Jonathan who is one of our own, we do not need any longer to fight for any secession. MASSOB's activities should be aimed towards protecting Ndigbo and assisting the security agencies weed out crime and kidnapping from the south east. They should organise symposia to promote the good qualities of the southeast. Sessession is no longer fashionable in this century. Ndigbo can live and prosper in a one united Nigeria if they join as one and stop fighting one another. My 2 cents. 12 Likes |

“Those miscreants, hooligans and touts, masquerading as MASSOB members in Anambra state, are to be dealt with,” Obi said yesterday. Sorry sir mr Obi,there is no real Massob members anywhere. All of them are nothing but hoodlums and outcasts that need to be crushed with maximum force. No wonder Jonathan included them in his diary of terror groups in Nigeria alongside Boko Haram. Bunch of thievies looking for presidential amnesty ! 3 Likes |

The Ndigbos should put the civil war behind them. They fought hard and they lost harder. In wars, there's usually that one side taking it harder. Biafra would never been a lone state. Nigeria would forever remain together. They should learn from the American civil war, the war did not bring division to the Yankees and the southerners, instead, it made them this great nation they are today. Every year they reenact the civil war just for fun, our Igbo brother's should learn from them. Let's forget the past and live for the future. MASSOB = BOM AS-S. 3 Likes |

Obi insisted that Ndigbo were not and still not Ah Obi is no longer an igbo man, @ topic, self criticism is the only way to move forward, you earned more respect Mr Obi by being objective and blunt, not like the long list of mediocres we have on this forum who think they are more igbo than others. 1 Like |

Agreed MASSOB maybe locking horns with South-East governors. But South-East governors are more or less a sell out. What-da-furk does He mean by Ndi Igbo are not being marginalised and that we should Support Jonathan? ADAOBI, should speak for himself and his family. If he has no ambition, he should not try to dampen other people's spirit in Ala Igbo. Kidnapping and other atrocities by Igbo boys are condemnable, but sometimes our politicians are the people who set up these boys in the first place as political thugs. 7 Likes |

What an unkind cut from Obi. He must have been really angry. But seriously, what manner of a group will keep on doing the same thing and expecting a different result? |

Gov Obi is showing a good grasp of real politics here. But it will take a normal disgruntled Igboman more than a mere understanding of today's Nigeria politics inorder to accept that we need to put our house in order before crying wolf. 1 Like |

Abali1:Tell me any part of this country where people are not marginalised, nobody is going to hand anything to you, if you need it, go for it. If you don’t discover and change your wrongs, you can never get it right. The ijaws have less than 20% of our population yet one of them his president already while we hang on to the civil war and massob. 2 Likes |

Somebody said somewhere that after the "Jews" recorded 'success' in the sit-at-home exercise of Saturday, they are now observing a stand-in-the-sun exercise to get customers/clients. It is called 'njo ahia' in Igbo. Ralph Uwazuruike, and the Igbo in general should redefine their stand in our polity. How can a people be asking not to be marginalized and at the same time belonging to a secessionist organization whose name, MASSOB, depicts that. The government can dialogue with Arewa Consultative Forum, Afenifere, OPC, MOSOP, and even Boko Haram, because their nomenclature does not show that they are secessionist. For those that don't know what the acronym, MASSOB, stand for, it is the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra. 1 Like |

Nightshift: Gov Obi is showing a good grasp of real politics here. But it will take a normal disgruntled Igboman more than a mere understanding of today's Nigeria politics inorder to accept that we need to put our house in order before crying wolf. That's what i was saying in the other thread before some Massob members lynched me. I thank God i'm still alive to tell the story. There's nothing wrong in asking people to sit at hime but they should be appealed to rather threatened. We need to do away with this attitude of always threatening people to do something or else.... |

Obiagelli:You simply concurred to message I am to pass on. "If you need it, go for it". So why is ADAOBI saying that Ndi-Igbo should support Jonathan En-masse. Why can't ADAOBI and all other azz lickers keep their opinion to themselves and allow other Igbos who may wish to vie for the highest office in the land. I am not arguing in favour of MASSOB, but I am saying that Peter Obi should not dampen other people's spirit in Ala-Igbo. 3 Likes |

Afam4eva:Those who were attacking you forgot that political decisions about Igboland are often determined in Enugu; not in Onitsha, Aba, Owerri or Awka. Nobody can change the historical narrative of Enugu residents role in Igboland, or that it was once the Biafra capital. We will be worse off than Mexico's narco towns if Ndigbo allows Okada people steer the wheels of Biafran politics. 1 Like |
