Besides the declaration of SOE and release of some detained Boko Haram suspects (women and children), what has changed to make the communities now enlist in the war on Boko Haram? Maybe the communities have had enough and are now fighting back. Maybe the recent release of detained Boko Haram suspects is winning more souls for the JTF. Only the communities involved can tell us what has changed.
