Nairobi National Park is a wildlife park that is found close to the capital city of Kenya-Nairobi. This makes this national park the only national park in the whole world that is near a capital city. It will take you approximately 30 minutes to drive from the city center to this park. Once in the park, you can have a great view of the city’s sky scrapers in the background making you relax in this environment.

The Animal Orphanage and the Educational Centre at Nairobi National Park
At the entrance of the park there is the educational centre and the animal orphanage. This centre is geared towards educating all visitors to understand the relationship between the environment and human activities. This gives you a chance to learn about wildlife conservation as well as learning how to support conservation efforts. At the orphanage, the endangered animal species receive safety and protection at the Nairobi National Park. There is also a chance for visitors to adopt an animal and commit themselves to financing the care of the adopted animals. Great world personalities have had a chance to adopt an animal at the orphanage to ensure their survival.
There is also the popular Nairobi Safari Walk. This walk gives the visitor an insight in to what one expects to see during their tour in the country’s conservation efforts all over the country. This walk will help you to sample the country’s rich animal collection, not only at the Nairobi National Park, that range from the albino zebra, the white rhino, the rare bongo, the pygmy hippo, several antelopes and other primates. The way the Safari walk is designed is unique and there is a guarantee that you will enjoy it.
