GreenBobo:Optimism without a bit of realism, forget, do yu think Uruguay are mumus like SE, they will maul Taiti, believe me, they don't joke with chances, and we can never beat spain with a wide margin, forget it! So even if your calculator is as advanced as a Texas BA 11 calculator, it won't ever work out. But wait, can SE beat that spain, with those less than average player (CFs). Gbagbe e jooorrR! |

dozai: With respects.......what i am suggesting is simply that we seem to have a team we can work with at the moment. Those guys that played today can defeat any team in the world as far as soccer is concerned. They only need a football psychologist along with a technically sound coach. Keshi is good, but needs to update himself technically. Haruna, Aluko and the likes may be a good option o.........but heck, why is it a difficult task to train these group we have now while the likes of Haruna, Aluko can work hard and be a part of the team regardless of quota system/tribe within the NFA? |

Nig will beat Spain! Uruguay will draw Tahiti! When will SE avoid all this situation of turning everyone into a mathematian! Can't we just kill it at first instance and forget about football arithmetics |

Afam4eva: Musa is not an overall bad player. But i don't like maverick players very much. Players like that can make or mar a team. When he's brilliant, he's very brilliant and when he's not, the team has to pay. he should learn to use his head more even if it means going for a vasectomy so that his balls does not take the place of his brain. Musa has the skills and pace to become a great player but his pea-sized brain is his achilles' heel... He had an alright game, though. |

collynzo2: Because we didn't lose any match when those guys were playing? For God's sake we were called super chickens because of those players you want back. I have a simple solution, drop the remaining one of them, Enyeama! NO OSAZE MUST COME BACK ...COS NOW WE DON'T HAVE STRIKER AND MIKEL IS GOOD BUT NOT INTELIGENT LIKE THAT >.....TODAY I MISSED PAPILO , OSAZE and someone crazy and skilful over there CHAI ...Mikel should study papilos inteligence and he will be complete ...to know what to do with the ball immediately and not turning around just to keep possession |

[quote author=mikeansy]well its a learning experience for Keshi and a reality check Babatunde has no place in this team! Haruna Lukman, Osaze and Yobo are required in the team. All this osaze, lukman ,martins bla bla is beginning to bore me. When they had their chances before now,wht spectacular thing did they play? |

shymexx:That has always been my opinion about Ideye. he shouldn't be the last man at the front. He's just too slow and not flexible. Good strikers take their chances before the defense realizes it. Our major problem has been at the front and the overall psychology of the team. We need to shop for more strikers to join Emenike and Oduamadi. Martins won't be a bad option. The problem we had in the past when the likes of Martins were playing was that the midfielders were not feeding the strikers enough. But now, i think we have an OK midfield, so we need strikers that can convert and not miss glaring chances like Ideye and Musa have done. |

sadeiyare: Posterity is catching up with SE, you can't just leave players that suffered over the years completely out of the team it isn't fair and that I feel is what is now hunting Keshi. True talk, my brother. Posterity really caught up with SE in January/February 2013 and they won AFCON. May posterity keep catching them ooo, especially during the World Cup... Say 'Amen' to that. |
Re: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Confederations Cup: (1 - 2) On 20th June 2013 by mcobinad(m): 1:30am On Jun 21, 2013 |
Common guys, imperfection is intrinsic to humans, so stop all this ranting of Keshi should have used so so so and so player. The poor man could not have foreseen the predictability of Uruguay winning this match. It happens all the time for better teams to loose to less deserving teams. Spain lost their opening game in the world cup and still lifted the trophy. All hope is not dashed. Nigerian team did well. |
