If NFF had agreed to give them 5k for a draw, then they have every right to reject less. It has nothing to do with patriotism.
NFF should get serious and stay with their commitments.

If the NFF is not giving them what they were promised, then they shud not accept. Did they officials slash their own pay? Our politicians are looting by the seconds and some fools here are talking rubbish. Even NASS members going on recess goes with huge allowances just to go and rest ooooooh. Ok now, even the president may not be PATROTIC enough to cut his pay.

To those accusing the boys of not being patriotic, I call on all of you to come and deploy whatever skill you have now that brings you your daily bread for the service of Nigeria and let Nigeria pay you half of what you currently charge when you do private business.

I also call on all the contractors getting projects from Government to please do the job almost free. Afterall, its service to the Nation. If we all agree to this then Super Eagles also should accept half pay if not you should keep your stinking mouths shut!

longjon: What happened to patriotism ?

You all seem to have forgotten so soon the amount of cash and other ridiculous gifts that were handed over to the same super eagles at the end of AFCON 2013. The cash amount alone was $6m above the amount stipulated in the contract agreement between the eagles and the govt. Not to mention the choice pieces of real estate, cash gifts from private individuals, state governments etc. Heck. Even the support staff got millions of naira. Do y'all remember that wasn't part of the contract ? SMH at this generation. Y 'all don't even begin to understand the meaning of patriotism.
