a) You should register for Data Gifting Service with your mtn phone number by sending REG to 131 . Immediately you send REG to 131, you will receive a unique authentication PIN .

b) Then text Gift 0803******* 106 0000 to 131 . Where 0803******* is the phone number you want to send the MB, 106 is the code of 100MB monthly plan and 0000 is your PIN .

Option 2 (USSD)

Just dial *131# and then follow the menu.
