UNITY AMONG THE YOUTH OF EKITI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, IN KWARA STATE

The world is composed of different language speaking people, different colored people from different nations. Humans are meant to love one another and work hand in hand. we are all created by God, why can’t we work and live together, it is time to heal d world and make our local government a better place for all of us. We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. Our life’s begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Truly, today we have heard from great people from different walks of life- champions of liberty and civil right with different background and political affiliations. we all came here today and by the privilege given to me and in a delightful manner with an absolute appreciation to all the noble youth of our local government and does propelling of celebration of an important issue/theme called: UNITY BY THE NOBLE YOUTH OF THIS GREAT LOCAL GOVERNMENT. It is a common saying that united we stand, divided we fall, remember that, so powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth even the weak become strong when they are united, alone we can do so little together we can do so much, coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress and working together is a success. Remember, upon the conduct of each depends on the fate of all and how good and pleasant is it when brothers and sisters dwell together in harmony (psalm 133:1). It is time for us to finally push over those things that can divide us and instead focus on those things that can unite us. With this many challenges of our youth in this LOCAL GOVERNMENT, IN KWARA STATE, and the entire state; we must push over differences and embraced working together through unity for the absolute best of ourselves. Unity has always been a motivating force for us, we have come a long way but as innovative and inclusive as our LOCAL GOVERNMENT EKITI,IN KWARA STATE, has been in the past in regard to public policy, it strikes me as odd, that We currently leave almost every important matter unconcerned, which in turn becomes a cog in the wheel of our social peace, truncate precariously our developmental channels and does post a lethal treat on our noble future. It is time to vacate the realm of division and start promoting a system with a sole aim of unity in our LOCAL GOVERNMENT EKITI, It is time for us to stand and reclaim the title of independence, innovation, inclusion, integrity, honesty, loyalty, commitment, focus, dedication, peace, self confidence etc which are all embedded in unity. To me Unity means, working together to solve problems either as ordinary citizen or a policy maker. this is what we expect from ourselves and that is what we deserve in this LG.. Finally, remember that hatred paralyses life! Love releases it! Hatred confuses life! Love harmonizes it! Hatred darkens life! Love illuminate it. LET NOT HIM WHO IS HOUSELES PULL DOWN THE HOUSE OF ANOTHER BUT LET HIM LABOUR DELIGENTLY AND BUILD ONE 4 HIMSELF THIS BY EXAMPLE ASSURING THAT HIS OWN SHALL BE SAFED 4RM VIOLENCE WHEN BUILT
