Few weeks ago I had dramatic experience on Lagos Ibadan expressway, there were some Fulani guys terrorizing the motorists, just few distance from Sapade overhead bridge. We were able to escape by God grace. Also with the quick intervention of the highway patrol cops the marauders fled.I was told that they later came again, the robbers, on sunday to unleash terror on motorists plying the route. An advice for people plying lagos ibadan expressway,be observant, whenever you arent seeing vehicles passing on the other side of the road for a long while, take caution. And if you see guys with headwarmers ahead of you waving you down, you may need to beat retreat.

This caution is by far the most pertinent and useful post in this entire discussion topic. Fulani "cow herder" highway bandits are, to all practical intents, THE SAME as Boko Haram terror operatives, and they are already active along the Lagos to Ibadan expressway.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, and read Malmo's practical safety tips above.
