hmm, this cashless of a thing, we as a country still have other things to work on before this shit. Electricity isn't stanby even poor networks. We shouldn't imitate other countries like usa, they've gone far more than we have. We still have other petty business that needs cash for payment. 2 Likes |

Bad boiz fit do some kinda wonders on the POS. Nevertheless, we must embrace technology. Make sure to get your secure code if you're using master or visa card to avoid the unknown. |

I don't know about anyone, but what I can clearly see in this article is justifications by the financial sector to loot us dry. |

Its a nice idea, but its being abused. I remember going to a cardiologist a few months ago, the bill was 80,000 (naira), and i wanted to feel like a "cashless" guy, and wanted to use their POS, only to be told by the cashier, that i would pay charges which was almost 3k (meaning i would be paying 83k). When i asked, i was told that since the bank (shares a common name with Andy "uba"charges them for using the POS, they have decided that its the customer that would bear the charges. I had to go look for the nearest ATM to physically withdraw. The point here is banks are using this to milk people, how can one pay charge of 3k for a 80k deal? 1 Like |

But article said N300,000 for individual withdrawal and later went on to say N500,000 again. Which one is correct? Or is the first limitation for those in the six selected areas? |

Reminds me of an. Onitsha man who was given an in-house cheque. The man went to the bank, paid in the cheque and sat at the lounge waiting. The man sat there for nearly 2 hours and suddenly got up and started shouting. TBC.... 1 Like |
