Hi all. Pls I'll like 2 find out if downloading frm Youtube is restricted on mobile phone.

I subscribed lately 2 a data bundle wt d sole aim 2 dwld a few clips bt 2 my greatest surprise, every effort hs proven abortive.

I used both ucweb & opera mini (all sorts of versions) but at d downloadin stage, d only available button is 'Cloud download': (no 'save' button). Clickin it often leads 2 another page where u hv 2 create an account or sign in using either facebook or google. All dis I tried bt no result.
Pls what is dis 'cloud download'?

Is there any restriction downloadin frm Youtube on phone? Or is it a function of settings? Or any beta way than going thru 'savefrom'?

I think youtube videos are officially meant to be watched not downloaded. But there are many apps and sites you can use to download. They involved copying and pasting the youtube video url. Just do a google search about, "how to download youtube video to mobile phone" or "youtube downloader applications for mobile phone".

You're right! TubeMate is the best. I have been using it and have not got any problem with downloading videos from YouTube.

There are two was i know. Copy the url of the youtube video and paste @ www.mp3avi.com
give it time to convert to either 3gp, mp4 or avi.
Or
use 'ss'. Copy the url, paste it on your browser and add 'ss' then click and download. I.e
http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=LDbptpmBrd8

I honestly think YouTube videos are meant to be watched and not downloaded. That's why I only watch and forget about downloading. If I want to download a video, all I do is simply search it out on waptrick or any other popular downloading site as am only used to music videos. Why don't you google search the video? the result might lead you to a website where you can easily download.

Or use d application: Easytube or TXD app 2 download videos from youtube....it is super fast. Tubemate sometimes Bleep up...but those two are d best.
