Talk about husband and wife matters; wonders shall never end, here is some interesting news in the Blueprint Newspaper today.

A housewife in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, recently labelled her husband, who took a second wife against her wish, as Boko Haram, and wants him killed.

The housewife (names withheld), wanted the Joint Task Force (JTF) to arrest her spouse of 11 years and shoot him dead. That was, to her, the best way to get back at the father of her four children.
“Each time her husband talked about getting a second wife, she kept on threatening to deal with him, as she would always say ‘I have your life in my hands, so be very careful with me,” said one Shaibu Ogaje, friend to the embattled husband.
Blueprint gathered that when the husband (names withheld) married a new wife, the woman walked up to the JTF unit in their street and informed them that her husband was a Boko Haram member.
Sources in Gwange II ward, where the family lives, said the JTF operatives quickly stormed the husband’s house and arrested him. After thorough investigation, the husband, who
continued to plead innocence, was later told that his secret was revealed by his wife. Shocked by the extent his scorned wife could go, the man explained to the security operatives why his wide chose to label him a Boko Haram member. The confused soldiers invited the woman who, after serious threats, confessed that she implicated her spouse over his new wife. Having found the truth, the JTF released the man who
vowed to divorce the woman “once and for all.”
