I am happy for her, but i am still not impressed with her time, she seems to be catching up on SAFP becuase they are running slower times,sAFP ran 10.75 in the olympics, if she runs that again, blessing would be nowhere to be found, her time now, would still not have made her medal in the olympics. She needs to increase her speed.

I think her time was very good. Dis time last year she had not even broken 11 secs, and u will notice dat she keeps closing d gap on SAFP on each race. A favorable wind would have increased d time to a low 10.8 when you consider that in dis race she ran into a headwind .

In a more pressurised environment like an olympic 100m final or world Championship once they leave you behind that's it. You would struggle make 4th or 5th place she needs to work on her starting

crispgg: Blessing Okagbare just ran a season best of 10.93 to come second at the 100m event in the IAAF meet in Paris, narrowly losing to shelly-Ann Frasier who did 10.92 a few minutes ago.

Okagbare would have won but dipped too early at the finish giving Frasier the opportunity to grab the first position as she maintained her speed throughout.

Congrats to Blessing.
God bless U,left, right n round about.

Is Blessing Okagbare a Yoruba girl?

Just watched some of blessing's races on YouTube. She needs to work on starting and finishing.

She starts slow, and bends her head too early near the finish line, which cost her this race.

She has pace and is always playing catch up.

If she corrects those errors, Nigeria has a chance to get at least one medal in the next Olympics.

First of all .... Congrats Blessing. U da bomb!
Everytime everybody keeps talking about the next Olympics...
The World Championships is just exactly a month away .... and shes right on course!

By beating Kelly Ann-Baptiste and English Gardner (The two fastest runners this year), she has defeated every potential finalist/medalist at Moscow next month.

The only person left is Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce who she has only conquered in the 200m... but its just a matter of time.

I believe with championship jinja that SAFP and Jeter will bring .... Okagbare will run a 10.8* and win a medal .... surely!

9ja 4 Life.
