chiefkpokp: Well I think its depend on d market, like last month, I made, like 112k, from 4 webdesign, 3 static site and 1 ecommerce site. But this month, I cnt say 4 now, but I have like 3jobs already, so till d end of dis month I go give una report!!!!!! But for real I dey like target dat 300boy wen d op mention.....by fire by thunder by force.

can't really put a figure to it cos Some months are "lean" and some are fat.... i try my best to save and spend evenly. the only fix figure is from my day job.

I later even created a thread searching for a LR exchanger, if you check my profile, you'll see the thread like this "Liberty reserve exchanger needed". It's was my first time of opening LR. you can even check me on Facebook, "George Tosin Schmeichel". I was thinking i'll earn by exchanging LR with PM. I later abandoned my LR account.

Keep deceiving yourself. May that sorrow-filled story u posted about urself come 2 pass. Fraudsters like ur type block the way for truly needy people who need help

i know u people will think am a fraudster. that is the reason i said u should check my facebook profile and check my gallary and compare it with my profil picture on nairaland. Am really very sad wright now. i suggest u go through everything i wrote again. take this to yourself- if u were real but nobody is beleving. theres one thing, blacks are so evil.

The difference is this:
A webmaster handles anything that has to do with with web development, graphics, web design, linking it with database and making it dynamic..after all development, he deals with uploading it to a server and ensure its working.

While a software developer mostly handle core object oriented programming like an ERP, CRM and so on. A software developer can also be a web master, to cut the long story short, a software developer handles complex mathematical, logical and whatever applications u can think of, while a webmaster deals with the WEB\

I may not be detailed enough, but someone more knowledgeable can shed more light..

winexviv: My intention for this is not to show off but rather encourage new comers. I'm still a full time freelancer but currently I earn an average of 300k per month as a developer. sometimes it will be more but at worst this is what I earn shaa.

I never knew much about computer until I entered School. I started core programming this year. I learnt php myself but perfect with vb6.0 and .net. The problem is that I still see programming as fun. I make #7,000-#20,000 monthly. But all depends on my hardwork. I just make game cheats in vb then sit and wait for the money to roll in.

I stumbled on this thread while searching for a thread. I was surprised to come across my username. To cut the story short, I got a pc that same year and I have grown to be able to make well good enough, I am just aiming to stabilise it.

The reason I quoted you is because, you all a cruded in black mentality. Actually, if I had gotten the pc at the exact time I needed it, I would have been a better person than I am today.

Because I said I wanted to buy phone or cuz I made sarcastic comment of being a girl somewhere, you poured all that rubbish down. They phone I typed that from wasn't even my phone and where I was, I wonder how long it would have taken to actually make an ordinary 30k.

You guys should think we'll before commenting. Like I said, it's thanks to comments like this that made me a better person. For your information, I have struggled with depression for years, but thank God I'm able to fight it.

It's so annoying sha. I hope you have changed and if you haven't, just keep your mouth shut to people requesting help if you have no evidence of them being scammers.

To add a little more to this, I struggled so much that it is God that is saving me from being bed bound. I can hardly move freely like others, it was this year I started being able to really sleep.

I don't like saying my story to anyone though, but as long as God is alive, I will never beg or bow to anyone ever again.

Honestly,

I work remotely for an American startup where they provide mentors for students . I chose not to collect payment as a salary but instead compensation for my work through internet connection, access to paid udemy courses and other stuffs.

But, I just got my first developer role in Lagos and according to the employer, the agreed salary stated was 50K.Though i would have opted for more because of my experience but i decided to agree to the price since it is my first developer role in Nigeria.

So I will be earning 50K monthly for my developer role
