The Asian tigers have dominated the manufacturing/producing market so long after the sudden cripple of American market.

Virtually 99% of all importation in to Africa are from the Asian market. However, a recent visit to Onitsha and Aba shows a significant increase in local production.

Young men and women are diving into the risky unchartted water of manufacturing many are smiling to the banks while a few are licking their wounds.

The profitability of a manufacturer outweights any form of profit that can be achieved anywhere. But manufacturing is not for children or the poor. It is for men with the username, the big players.

But when you go to China, you will notice that the big players are small. The major players are small manufacturing companies playing the big games.

Most of the chinese phones are manufactured in peoples home rather than factories.

Nigeria has long waited for its time and that time is now. Our focus should move from import oriented to manufacturing.

We have all it take to do well in production: raw material, cheap labour, a hungry market etc.

The question is, what is stopping us?

Gradually the afro lions are taking the forest of entrepreneurship by a storm.

Gone are the days when toothpicks, candles, chewing stick were imported. At present many of our household goods are manufactured locally, but many more are begging for our recognition.

Nobody can develop africa except africans. Our forefathers thought the whiteman will give him development but little did he no that he will offer him crumbs from the bread baked in his own oven. We cannot think like our forefathers unless we are mad. Hmm, are there not many thinking it is the responsibility of the government to give them job. Wrong thinking, Bros we need create jobs for our children.

lf the lions don't wake up now, the antelopes may mess up the forest. Enough of imported inferior products, lets drive this fraudulent importers out of business.

Lions hardly hunt individually, they hunt in pack. There is strength in number, partner with like mines and cut a niche for group in this forest of Afro industrial revolution.
