The National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended the compulsory retirement of Justice Shadrack O.E. Nwanosike, the Acting Chief Judge of Abia State.

The decision was taken by the NJC at its 63rd meeting which took place between July 17 and 18, 2013, under the Chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar.
