the SAT exam is taken for those wishing to study in the USA and other select institutions that accept SAT result.

The exam has 3 broad sections : Math, Critical Reading, Writing. Each section has a maximum score of 800, making a total possible score 2400.

The SAT is a standardized test. There are test centres in Lagos, abuja and port Harcourt , etc.

If you want to go school in a good US school and you're not a US citizen, your SAT score has to be pretty good. At least 2100/ 2400.

But generally a score of at least 1870/2400 can get you into a solid school.

It is unconfirmed that Loyola Jesuit college students have the highest SAT scores in Nigeria. I heard people in that school get above 2000/2400 like beans.

No I don't think so.

Of you're going for graduate studies you'll write a different exam....I've forgotten what its called. Just Google it.
