Menu---messaging---message settings---text messages---message centres---
click on MTN---Scroll down to message centre number---delete the numbers there /leave it empty
click on OK/SAVE. Switch off/on phone. go back to message centre number
type in +234803000000. click on OK/SAVE. switch off/on your phone.

Please i need u to stop the foolish autorenewal stuff on my phone. Did one mb data plan lastweek and since then, has been sending sms that i have no sufficient balance for the autorenewal, had to stop recharhing on the line. Please help check into kit and stop it

He sends the sms, establishes communication with his victims and lure them to River State where they are kidnapped and their family members are made to pay several amount as ransoms for their release.

I had ignorantly subscribed to a 150MB Music+ stuff. Ever since, my account gets deducted weekly for autorenewal, sadly, without notifying me, except when I didn't have enough balance. I learned that stopping the autorenewal took only sending STOP in an sms to 5900. I did that several times but received this response every time I did.

Y'ello,Un-subscription failed due to the end user did not subscribe the products.

A BIG thank you to Jide. I hope MTN is recognizing the wonderful job you are doing. Jide came to the rescue again.

Here was my situation.I received a txt from MTH that my sim has been deactivated, due to incomplete registration (I registered the thing, took picture, did finger print, etc. in 2011 when I got it), that I should go tot he nearest MTN office to re-register (Just like they asked the millions affected to do). Problem was, I am based outside Nigeria, and will not be back there till early nest year. And my that time, my sim/number would have been recycled. I did not want to lose that number. Well, I reached out to Jide. He was able to reach out to upper management, and they made it possible for me to re-register my sim form here. A little bit of paper work involved, and someone in Nigeria had to go there on my behalf. Took less than 24 hrs. after they received all the info requested. Sim is not active again.

I have a complain of d unecessary deductions by mtn from my airtime and i decided to call mtn customer care. One girl picked and call and greeted, before i could lay my complain, she started speaking yoruba with her colleagues forgettig that she was speaking with me. I listened to their conversation as they were talking about the President Buhari. After about 3mins i spoke back saying ''madam epele o' just then she hung up.
Mtn call centre agent do your work, tafia people.

pls in my area the MTN network is really bad,imagine downloading with H+ is 18 - 25m/s.
