I so much love big ships.

yes stealth corvettes, radar evading frigate, sleek destroyers they all make the headlines but when push comes to shove, then shoving comes to tug of war then to sweat, grunts and blood... the bigger boys come out to play.

big ships can never be phased out TOTALLY check your naval history. US, Russia, China, Japan, Germany they all have plans to develop bigger vessels in the cruiser and battleship class in the nearest future.

Poor countries might say they dont need it and I agree in a way but real wars are won by those WHO HAVE IT.

PETER THE GREAT HAS NO RIVAL IN THE WORLD EXCEPT IN THE NOW RETIRED IOWA CLASS. THE US TICONDERAGO CLASS CRUISERS IS NO MATCH.

am not saying that poor countries should go and be buying cruisers all I'm saying is that South African for instance if she had good economy and excess cash like Egypt should add.at least 2 powerful Destroyers to her fleet for MAXIMUM SOVEREIGNTY DEFENCE. same applies to Nigeria.

Corvettes, frigates can dish out ALOT of punches IN A VERY SHORT WHILE before it needs reloading but it CAN NEVER receive the amount of punch it dish out.

I feel like am like a distant voice crying in the desert but nobody is listening.

DONT LET THE BIG SHIPS GO YEY BECAUSE NOBODY KNOWS THE TYPE OF WARFARE TOMORROW WILL BRING.

1. Peter the fu*king Great Battle cruiser
2. UK DARING CLASS DESTROYER
3. US Navy Ticonderago class cruiser
4. chinese navy type 055 cruiser vs type 054 destroyer
