Noting is wrong with present system of Education only the structure has been collapsed over the years, and instead of the government taking the boom by horn by putting the necessary facilities in place. We are not happy

Which kind of policy makers are these ones self, from 6-3-3-4 to 9-3-4 now 1-6-3-3-4 in less then 14years, goosh again and again scatter and re-arrange, *let people* we nigerians O! -think we are working -ministers, what nonsense!! It has always been 2-6-3-3-4 and would remain like that and any other thing is in their minds, can't they just streamline the 4 (that's where the problem is!) or make people a-par educationally, if not, make it a must for everybody to go through polytechnics, like in America before you go to university, so you have an option, you could either opt out after college, or proceed to university, your grades now determine what level and how many years you would spend there, or if you want to do a masters straight -what is all this rubbish at the basic level that they as a government can't even verify, if it is working because the basic schools and secondary schools are managed by the states - they are just scattering and re-arranging *shikena*

Whether 1- 6-9-3 or 9-9-1, nigerian education is backward! Corruption and bad leadership has so pushed back our nation! corruption should be made a compulsory subject in our schools so dat students will know why d nation is in a sorry state.

Nonsense and one must av been 22 before leaving secondary school. Why are we so confused in this nation?

The only problem Nigerian education system has is the emphasis on training everybody as BSc.
After 5 years of secondary school, we should use the next two years to turn out a mass of skilled workers not designers. So we need 2 years colleges and Diplomas as a focus.
All these number shifting do not address the real problem we have which is unemployment caused by low quality of designers (BSc) who are suppose to be the brains behind new technology spin-off and ideas that will creat jobs for the skilled workers. The large number of BSc being trained stretches the resources thin to give poor Non- utiliterian education

Why emphasis on Early child education when we have not been able to implement the compulsory primary education? It should be optional to parents for now.

What's the difference between 6-3-3-4 system and 9-3-4 system?
This is the first time I'm hearing about this 9-3-4 system.

From the various comments on this thread,i have not seen a single logical argument against the new system.
