No one is getting carried away after just two games but this does put an early season smile on the face. Liverpool all the way.

Don't be too confident; Rodgers isn't doing much with the second half. AVL ran LFC ragged in the second half and Rodgers refused to changed tactics. Henderson was not being useful on the right, Lucas was very poor in the second half and yet he waited until very late to make substitutions and not the right ones.

Dear REDS, congratulations to us! That is a giant stride if u ask me, it really goes a long way improving our morale unlike previous seasons we start with streaks of DRAW.

I think Brendan's collection is doing a great JOB; do u think there are some changes he needs to consider or any other hint for our wonderful team...Let's look beyond top 4 this time around, who says we can't have the cup?

Yeah! We did it. I was a bit sceptical at first but with the courage the lads put up in the first half I was confident we could do it. How I wish Suarez is available for our game against Man U. But if this team has not lost a game in the last ten games even against the likes of chelsea they can do it without Suarez.

I love the man Mignolet

I think BR did the right thing. Playing deep and stopping Villa from playing their preferred game (swift counter attack). Cissokoh (spelling) was brought in to nullify Wiemman's threat on the right and Henderson did a great job helping Johnson Check Agbonlahor on the left. I agree with u on Lucas. He was really poor in the 2nd half. He gave up possession unnecessarily.

If Liverpool has to resort to playing defensive football against Aston Villa when Liverpool has a squad better than Villa, then what tactics will you use against teams such as Chelsea, Man utd, etc? Especially when leading by just a lone goal. The tactics were very poor. Even if Liverpool wanted to play defensive football, then Rodgers should have had sterling and Ibe who can run with the ball instead of Allen, Henderson, and Enrique. For 45 minutes, Liverpool was poor and Rodgers was confused. He shouldn't repeat such tactics again if he wants to finish in a champions league position.
