Taraba Lawmakers Summons Ailing Governor Danbaba Suntai To Address Them by Tjohn1(m): 3:17pm On Aug 27, 2013 |
The Taraba State House of Assembly has summoned ailing Governor Danbaba Suntai to address them, in order to substantiate his claim that he is ready and capable of resuming his official duties as governor. The lawmakers’ summon followed a letter written by Suntai, informing them of his return to the country and desire to resume his official duties. They are still not sure if Suntai has sufficiently recovered to resume his duties, considering his inability to speak to anyone since he returned from America. Gov. Suntai who returned to the country on Sunday after 10 months overseas, for medical treatment following injuries he sustained in a plane crash, is said to be holed up inside the Government House at Jalingo. Efforts by the lawmakers to see him yesterday were rebuffed by his security aides. http://www.google.com.ng/url?q=http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/08/27/taraba-lawmakers-summon-gov-suntai |

Chei! This is a good one from the lawmakers. This request is simple enough. Waiting for Suntai. ...But why can't Suntai thank his God, resign and go home to take good care of himself, afterall it'll be on record that he was a state Governor? Isn't he pushing his luck too far? Resigning is a win-win for him and the state. He would be able to care care of himself while another person takes care of the state. As it is, he won't be able to take good care of himself and state. |

Pukkah: Chei! This is a good one from the lawmakers.Resign? How can he resign when he has lost his memory? The people who are trying to use him for their selfish ends should fear God and allow the man's to be taken care of. |
