What I find really annoying is all these plastic bowls and IKEA coloured serving spoons and plain white mugs that everyone gives out.
How many people use single mug or single plates?
Most people use matching dinner sets
So what will I do with this one green mug and fridge magnet?
How many graters does a household need?
What does one do with a white thin towel with someones name embroidered or screen printed on?

I just wish that people wont waste their money on these soveniors that will eventually end up in the bin or in a cupboard. I am having a clear out at home and cant beleive the amount of unused soveniors I have

Food is much better. At least people can eat that and it wont be wasted, so long as you give out non perishable common foods such as baked beans and spagetti.

CC don't you even find it more baffling that people get offended if they are not given.i went for a party with one of my Inlaws and you know those people that give souvenirs to only people they know that's how this woman thought she was snubbing me by bypassing me (I no wear aso ebi as well sha) when she was sharing mug my inlaw was upset on my behalf I just dey laugh I said aunty why are you vexing naa she said she hates when people overlook people I said aunty she did me a favour at least I won't carry more kpanti home.me that I can do clear out it might be out of my house in a few weeks.sometimes I leave souvenirs on the table it give to those people who are so attached to it or pained if they are not given

I remember how me and my mum used to clash cos I was always clearing out the store.she too used to get upset when I was not fussed if they did not give me souvenir my answer was always 'all the ones you have at home how many do you use?
