I can’t have the best of both worlds
No matter how I convince myself in sweet words
I have to sacrifice the other for one
Either pleasure or fun
The choice between being an excellent player
Or an excellent worker
One a slave,
The other a fave,
Just one master
Two makes a disaster
I can’t have the best of both worlds
Just like I can’t have two gods
I can’t have the best of both worlds
Neither can earth’s lords.

**Got stuck while writing this; rhyme failed me (end rhyme and double rhyme, I think I'll start harnessing metaphors and wordplay). Still gave it my best shot though. Criticize freely, I want to get better.
