In my opinion, the RRR may never open until course and exam reg is closed. My reason is that , the management may not want to allow further registrations . They may have extended course and exam reg. so that students that already have money in their portal can register, without allowing for more payments. I suggest that the remita issue is for a purpose. this is my own 'little boy suggestion' .

I just discovered solution to payment problem with RRR on noun portal.

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by billionjoys: 10:56pm On Oct 16, 2016
1. You login to your profile on the noun portal.
2. Click on load remita (the first link by the left)
3. Check the list of all approved transactions and those one with retry command.
4. It depends on how much you want to pay, pick the RRR of transactions aborted with amount that will take care of your registration. Remember that you cannot put new amount.
5. Copy this RRR
6. Get someone that does Internet banking for his account with Nigeria bank.
7. Login to the Internet platform go to bill payment link where you see NEPA bill, Dstv, Remita etc

8. Click on remita payment

9. Put the RRR you copied from your noun portal.
10. Confirm the RRR just as you use to confirm account number you want to transfer fund to.
It must bring noun account numbers out and possibly your matric number.

11. Complete the payment process by putting password etc.

12. If transaction is successful then CONGRATS.

13. Go back to your noun portal profile.
14. Click on that load remita
15. Click on retry in front of the transaction you copied its RRR.

Check your profile is credited and continue with your registration.

Remember, there is no problem in this world without a Solution. Taking risk is what makes the difference.

Thanks

Its no risk.....aborted rrr are transactions not approved....u can take it to d bank and it will actually work, u don't need to look for someone wit internet banking or whatever.....its not actually a solution to generating rrr but a previously generated rrr that wasn't used for transaction......
D problem wit dis already generated rrr comes in two folds:
If u wanna pay for amount lower than the already generated rrr, that means u have to look for additional money
If u wanna pay for amount higher than what u ve previously generated, then what happens? ....

That's why I said you can't put new amount.
However, you can go to www.remita.net where all remita payments are reconciled.

At your risk please, not yet tested.

To generate RRR

1. Visit remita official website www.remita.net

2. Click on menu "Pay a Remita Customer/Biller"

Ensure the Pay Once button is checked on.

3. Fill the form correctly,
Biller: National Open University
Service type: Undergraduate Registration
Your particulars as you have it on Noun portal
Put amount you want,

4. Click proceed payment

Your RRR is generated, you can now use Internet banking platform to continue.

Sorry bros,

I have only tried the 1st option,
I wanted to pay N13500 but I paid N15000 because its the closest RRR I have that is not approved yet, other RRR are too much like N40,000 etc

So, I have balance of N1500.

Sorry that I don't have the capacity to try the 2nd option if not I would have taken that risk too.

Thanks
