What major cities like Nnewi and Onitisha need is "broad authority" to raise it's revenue and mayors who's responsibilities are infrastructures like roads, transportation, schools, and social facilities. This is how it's done in big cities, Nnewi has potential and thus cannot wait on govt to give it everything. I cannot wait to serve my people, enough of this gibberish.

I agree with you 100% these commissioners are useless. Every Mayor can be responsible for the development of education, transportation, health,commerce, etc; What was done in 8 years is nonsense and nothing to brag about. Are you in the states? The reason I ask is that this can only come from outside of the country. We the Nnewi diaspora know what needs to be done, we have higher standards and less fear of speaking up. We can no longer sit back and wait for our people to act we must hold these leaders accountable and expose those that are stealing and doing half a$$ jobs on what they do develop. We must demand transparency and accountability!

You need a leader with a big heart, big quality projects and planning using reputable firms, do government thing properly allowing the business minded people of Anambra state to thrive.

My brother I don't know, Nigeria is a conundrum with no direction.
There was a time in Nigeria when "Urban Councils" ruled the towns like Onitsha. They were very effective.
Now you have one governor sitting in far away Awka (or Abuja as in Peter Obis case) to corner ALL the money (both statutory allocations and internally generated revenues) and does NOTHING (if he is not statching in it his bank for interests). No money trickles down to the city councils or even LGAs.
What Nigeria needs is a sovereign national conference. Nothing else.
Whatever comes must come after that conference.

I honestly think that any man that built a multibilion Naira company would know how to assemble brilliant minds to help him run the state.
If you only look at him, you may miss the bigger picture. Look at those in his campaign and his advisers.

I will not support evil either, however keep in mind that honey comes from bees, not butterflies.

Peter Obi has been that carnivorous flower, while Ifeanyi Uba may be the bee.
Public business is not the same as private business, but you need DRIVE to succeed in both.
No one can deny that Ifeanyi Uba has drive. It is left to us to checkmate him and make sure he delivers if he wins.
He has no government experience and hence would be easier to check, than someone with an 8 year term ex-governor as godfather showing him how to maneuver our money without being caught.

I don't want anymore old political touts let us try someone that has proven to be able to bring business in. He did it for Fidelity and Texaco let him do it for us. No more free spirited entrepreneurs. We need someone that knows how to work for the people if he messes up he will mess up his name for ever domestically and internationally. So who is responsible for that is not that your yeye Peter Obi. So you want him to still be maintaining the project he has put on ground whene he is a Governor and what will Adaobi will be doing?

I did not vote for Peter Obi, read my past post, I exposed his mall I exposed his brother buying thousands of dollars wine and when he was caught with millions of cash in Lagos. Fidelity bank is an Igbo bank that serves the Igbo community they give loans to our people. I have no problem with that bank and you as a fellow Igbo should be happy that we have a bank that will loan you money to finance your business. I repeat I did not vote for Obi either times so please let us talk about the candidate.

I have no loyalty to any party you should read my past post, regarding all poli-ticks. Ngige is alright but we need exceptional. How can he not create any bill with so much that needs to be done in our state, does he even show up to work?
