Jang Faction Opposes Amaechi’s Faction On Finance Minster’s Sack

The Jonah Jang faction of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has reacted to the call earlier made by Amaechi faction of the NGF, that the Finance Minister should resign from office.

The Jang faction is opposing the decision reached by the Amaechi faction.

The governor Jang faction in a statement noted that the content of the communique by the Amaechi faction clearly indicates that the faction now sees itself as an opposition to the presidency and Nigerians.

Weighing in on the matter also, the governor of Delta state says it is wrong to ask for the sack of the finance minister over the issues raised by the Amaechi faction, but instead the NNPC and relevant agencies should be held accountable.

This reaction by the Jonah Jang faction of the NGF is not coming as a surprise to most Nigerians, but what would have triggered surprise would have been the faction’s non-reaction to the call by the Amaechi faction.

There’s been a split in loyalty in the NGF which was once united under the chairman ship of the Rivers State governor, but it all went awry when another election for the chairmanship of the NGF was due and was held in Abuja in the Rivers governor’s lodge where a disagreement ensued after the election produced Amaechi returning as the Chairman of the NGF, while Jonah Jang the Plateau state governor who contested with the incumbent  and apparently lost the election which was captured in video, laid claims to the chairmanship seat with the support of some governors, sometime in May.

Amaechi faction had in attendance, Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abdulafatah Ahmed (Kwara), Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Babatunde Fashola (Lagos), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti).

The Governors of Edo, Nasarawa and Borno were represented by their Deputies.

amaechi and his 16 thieves are finding it difficult to loot thats why they want her removed but they are of the minority. He has only 16 gov backing him while jang has more than 18 governors backing him.

Your torch-light eyes sharply detected that Yobe and Imo are missing from the list, but conveniently failed to see that Kwara was listed twice - in error.

Anyhow, if we remove the second Kwara, and add Yobe and Imo, it still gives a total of 17. . . .wetin happen to the much vaunted 19?
