Many people see people that smoke or drink alchohol as sinners, but is it really a sin? Why do preachers call them sinners? After all, the bible says it is what comes out of a man that defiles him and not what goes into him. What's your opinion?

Nope!buh drunkenness and being addicted is a sin against ur own body!

So why the misconception? Not that I like any of the habbits though.

yes if you go through your bible, u may not see any where it said dont drink or smoke but invisibily they are there .
you see the bible condems any thing that can destroy or brings damage to the body cos he said that our body is the temple of God.

SMOKING
never in medical history you are told that smoking of any type brings healing to your body. rather we hear that smoking causes lung cancer, throats cancer, blood cancer, teeth and gum cancers.condemns teeth .etc
smoking including indian hemp can lead to madness.robbery, crimes etc
and one thing about smooking is that it starts with a sip from a friend or a test from folded paper and graduated to normal cigar and finally to hemp.
So smoking distroyes the body which is where God lives in our body

ALCOHOLISM
IS also not or never condemned in bible. but it condemns excess use if it.
but how do we know or control it so we dont grow into excess.
remembet that our body is temple of God.
we shouldn't distroy it
most ppl that are alcohol adict started from one sip from somebody.
and anything one is addicted with is evil except born again..
we have know several after effects of alcohol in excess.

A guy that smokes and drinks does not fear God and certainly will not make the best husband for you. If you are a born again christain, you are God's child and entering a marriage covenant with him will mean crisis because 2 people in opposite direction cannot walk together. If you really love him pray for his genuine salvation before you start any form of relationship with him. In actual fact it's not advisable to allow yourself fall in love with some one who smokes and drinks. Think of what the future may likely hold being married to a guy that smokes and drinks.

Buh what if u re already involed with such a person, like being married already then what do u do?
