Swagalord18:God is a God of principle. Remember, those days He ruled by law and decree. Those were the practice back then. Beside, those suppose innocent folks would definitely takes after their fathers in rebellion against God. He knows the end from the beginning. Haven't you heard cases where God allowed the death of someone precious to Him? Steven in the bible comes to mind. Some family members could get angry at God for not saving him and thus labelled God wicked. With God, for every cause there is a reason. He said back then, that He will visit the sins of the father on the sons and son sons. It was a law. God is mysterious, but He remain mysterious only to those too haughty to acknowledge Him. |
