The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, has begun an indefinite strike in protest against what it calls government’s provocative way of attending to issues.

Chairman of SSANU in the University of Ibadan, Wale Akinremi after the union’s congress said government is not committed to issues concerning the education sector.

He said the union is not happy with the way government is handling the issues of funding training and disparity in payment.
